120 Contact Hours
Daily sessions consist of 3 hours of tutor-based instruction in lesson planning, skills in listening, speaking and writing and language awareness. It includes 2 hours of teaching practise followed by a group feedback session.
6 Hours of Teaching Practise
Comprising 6 hours of assessed teaching practise, trainees teach groups of learners at a minimum of 2 levels of English language capability. Helpful feedback is given to ensure that all assessment criteria are met.
The Cambridge CELTA is at Level 5 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework, regulated by Ofqual. It is one of the world’s leading qualifications in teaching English, recognised by employers globally.
Our tutors have a variety of international backgrounds and are highly competent in delivering the CELTA course. Every tutor holds a CELTA certificate or TESOL equivalent as well as teaching experience.
4 Week Full Time
Unlike other teacher training qualifications which are usually awarded after a minimum of one year, CELTA is awarded after an intensive course spanning only 4 weeks, meaning that you become qualified to teach English sooner.
For Beginners & Experienced
Candidates include those both with and without prior teaching experience. Course material introduces inexperienced trainees to new techniques and ensures the progressive development of experienced teachers.

Jodi Shiek is an experienced English teacher and teacher trainer (for CELTA) since 2008. She lives in Bandung but works in Jakarta, Indonesia. She holds the highly regarded certification in DELTA and Masters in TESOL.
Rob is from the United Kingdom and lives in Jakarta. He has been involved in English language teaching for nearly thirty years training teachers for over 15 years. Rob is also a CELTA assessor and examiner for IELTS.
